Presented by the Port of Vancouver, RiverFest is a FREE family-friendly festival, and a great way to enjoy a beautiful fall day along the mighty Fraser River. The main festival day will take place on on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 11 am – 5 pm.

RiverFest 2018 will build on past festivals to ensure informative and enjoyable family entertainment, including vendors whose products embody the Fraser, a diverse assortment of exhibitors, children’s activities, and live music.

The week-long event starts on Wednesday, September 19th with a special RiverFest edition of FRDC’s curriculum-based RiverSchool for three lucky elementary school classes. That is followed the next day by our *click* photos of the fraser exhibit unveiling, whose photograph theme this year is Movement. The climax of the week is Saturday, which will include the Family Fun Zone (inside the FRDC), Artisans on the River (with New West Craft), the Samson V Maritime Museum, the Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade and the launch of the newest addition to the Journey Through the Working River Exhibit – Within the Hidden River, which is supported through the Pacific Salmon Foundation’s Community Salmon Program.
