[New West] In just two and a half hours, you and your friends can participate in exciting fundraising activities that could see you complete your holiday shopping in record time. Topping the activities will be a Live Auction starting at 5:30pm offering six premium items, including three incredible offerings of baseball memorabilia guaranteed to please the most discerning sport collector.
Baseball enthusiasts will want to bid for a Toronto Blue Jays red Canada Day jersey signed by Canadian Hall of Famer retired Toronto Blue Jay Lloyd Moseby [see photo] or a baseball signed by Baseball Hall of Famer Roberto Alomar. Attendees will also get an opportunity to own a Justin Morneau Limited Edition New Era baseball cap [see photo] and signed baseball and photo. G5 acknowledges the generousity of local author and baseball aficionado Ken McIntosh for the donation of these fine collectibles. Reserved bids may apply.
In addition to these three sport collectibles, the Live Auction, will give participants a chance to bid on a 43” flat-screen SHARPE Television donated by Key West Ford, an electric cordless lawnmower for the environmentally-minded homeowner donated by former New Westminster Councillor Lorrie Williams and last for the Oenophiles, a wooden wine rack filled by the G5 with twenty bottles of fine wine.

Additional fundraising activities will include a Silent Auction which takes place throughout the evening. Complimenting these two auctions will be a $20-Table filled with quality, affordable items for your consideration and multiple door prizes. As guests mix, mingle and purchase, they will also enjoy delicious appetizers created by Mr. Mom Catering and a cash bar.
The Group of Five donates one hundred percent of the profits from this event to the purchase of a Tilting Wheelchair for RCH. According to President Betty McIntosh, “We believe many ‘stars’ will be created at this Season of Goodwill Fall fundraiser, and their generousity will help the G5 continue to shine light on the equipment needs of RCH.”
