There are a lot of ideas – key among them is a desire for the city to build a Recreation Centre in whatever design is chosen – but what ends up there will depend on how engaged the Quayside community becomes in the scheduled Open Houses.

Here is a refresher from the Summer 2019 Open House, showing the story boards that were on display to inspire dialogue and ideas. City pages indicates more OH’s are scheduled for the Fall 2019 – will let you know – when we know!

We recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.
