It all began with a Quayside resident, Shera Rael, sharing her concerns with a local politician regarding cuts to the C3 service. Shera worked with the politician to coordinate a letter writing campaign to TransLink, including a pop-up office at Quayside Park!
Translink wrote in March to let residents know that beginning April 24, 2017, “C3 service will be extended to run from 9pm – 12am, operating every 20 minutes.”
This return of the C3 service is another example of how an organized effort involving neighbours and elected representatives can make an impact in the community.
