Our new Staff Liaison is Amina Yasin.

The role of the City staff Liaison is to attend meetings as an opportunity to hear community issues first-hand and convey these issues back to the appropriate City departments. The Staff Liaison is there to listen rather than participate in discussions or activities. The Staff Liaison may answer questions about City-related topics at the meeting or take these questions back to the appropriate City staff for follow-up.

For more information on this role within Community associations, please contact Rupinder Basi | Development Planning Supervisor at rbasi@newwestcity.ca[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]

We recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.
