Join the Coldest Night of the Year Walk with Seniors Services Society on Saturday Feb. 25, 5:00 pm at River Market! The Walk raises money for programs that help seniors who are homeless or in housing crisis. Each month Seniors Services hears from up to 200 homeless or at risk seniors across metro Vancouver, and the city with the second highest call volume is New Westminster. Bundle up and walk 2, 5 or 10 km in Downtown New West – and wrap it up with a hot meal at the Quay. Register to walk, donate or volunteer at www.cnoy.org/location/newwestminster, or call 604-520-6621 for more information.[/cs_text][x_image type=”none” src=”https://quay.white-shirt.ca/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/SS-Michelle.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]

We recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.
