You’ve heard of Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, but September 9th is International Grandparents’ Day! Come to the Grandparents Day Festival and Stroll. Celebrate all grandparents, and shine a light on more than 13,000 grandparents in BC who are caring for their grandchildren on a full-time basis.

Live music, entertainment, kids games, Fundraising walk and silent auction. This family event has been organized to celebrate grandparents and raise awareness and funds to support the work the society does with grandparent-led families and its parenting programs across BC.

We recognize and respect that New Westminster is on the unceded and unsurrendered land of the Halkomelem-speaking peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land.
