Throughout the month of December bring family and friends to stroll New Westminster’s Quayside Drive and Promenade and enjoy one of the most visited ‘Candy Cane Lanes’ in the lower mainland.
The QUAYSIDE COMMUNITY BOARD, BUILDING STRATAS and CONDO OWNERS have worked joyously to make this celebration of light along the Fraser River a seasonal favourite. While light gazing please enjoy the specialty shops and restaurants at River Market.

Each year, to coincide with the QCB Light Up The Quay event, each residential building hosts a donation box for the QCB annual Food drive. All food collected stay in the New Westminster area and is distributed to local charities in time for the holidays. Please donate generously.
VOLUNTEER: If you would like to volunteer to monitor the box(s) in your residential building ( empty when full – call and coordinate the pick-up on December 19th please email info@quaysideboard.com.
The Mayor’s State of the City will highlight the City of New Westminster’s successes and forward vision in line with our City’s strategic initiatives. This is also an opportunity for you to meet Mayor Jonathan Coté, members of Council and ask questions while networking with other individuals who have a stake in our City’s future.
The reception to be hosted in the Douglas Room at the New West College Campus on Tuesday, May 16th commencing at 5:30 pm/ Guests will include: Society members, the 2017 award recipient and influential members of the theatre community.
